Echoes of Wild

Ethically sourced cow skull art, antler art and photography.

I began dabbling in photography when I was 18 before my very first trip to Europe.  My aunt let me borrow her camera for the trip and gave me a brief run-down of the equipment before I went.  This was of course still in the days of film camera's and I needed to learn to not waste all the film I would be packing with me!  When I returned, I was delighted to see the photos I had taken and borrowed her camera to practice more.  I received my very own Canon Rebel film camera at my next birthday from my aunt and practiced and practiced all over San Francisco where I grew up - mainly at the barn I had been riding at since age 8.

The camera did not make the trip to college with me due to fear of damaging it during college life.  So my hobby fell by the wayside.  A few years ago I decided to try my hand at it again and as it turns out I still thoroughly enjoy taking pictures of everyone and everythingaround me - especially if it involves horses, ranch life or friends and family.

I am learning more about photography everyday and enjoy the learning process.  I am currently located in Bakersfield, Ca and make frequent trips back to the Central Coast where I lived for 13 years.  If you are interested in booking a session with me, please e-mail me at echoesofwild@gmail.com.  Be sure to check out the gallery link to see some of my most recent work!
